The bedside extension features a capacitive touchscreen, Linux operating system, and a handheld call handle. Mounted on the bedside strap, it displays bed number, name, gender, age, medical insurance type, nursing level, hospitalization number, admission date, hospitalization days, attending physician, attending nurse, and medical history. Patients can call the nurse station using either a virtual on-screen button or a keypad.

• Supports two-way intercom with the medical host, and supports host calling and releasing calls.
• Nurses can enter the nursing mode through the bed extension. The ward door phone, corridor display screen, and medical host will all display the corresponding nursing status. The corresponding door light will be constantly green as a reminder, which can help nurses locate the position.
• Supports access to emergency buttons, which can send alarms to the medical host at the nurse station.
• It supports displaying bed number, name, gender, age, medical insurance type, nursing level, hospitalization number, admission time, number of days in hospital, attending physician, attending nurse, and symptom information.
• Supports displaying label information of background configurations such as security precautions, diet categories, drug reactions, and isolation categories.
• It supports one-click screen off, supports displaying emergency notifications, fire instructions and other information, and can receive broadcasts and calls from the broadcast host.
• The bottom information box supports playing and displaying the ward slogans issued by the background ward in the form of page breaks.
• Supports virtual buttons to call for reinforcements and arrive for nursing work.
• Supports synchronizing server time, adjusting ringtone volume, and one-click factory reset.
